Does this guy look like a coach, or what?.... It's hard to tell
these days with the fancy suits and Barry Melrose style hair. Jack,
in his first year at the helm, steered his team to the Stanley Cup
semi-final where the upstart North Stars suprised the hockey world by
becoming the first expansion team win a playoff game against an
established club. The North Stars lost the series 4-2, but most
agreed that they gave Montreal all they could handle. The
Canadiens went on to beat Chicago to win the 1971 Stanley Cup.
