The Wild acquired 26 year-old goaltender, Manny Fernandez, from the
Dallas Stars in exchange for 3rd and 4th round draft picks. The Stars
originally traded former North Star, Tommy Sjodin to the Quebec
Nordiques for the young prospect. In 31 NHL games Manny posted a
12-11-4 record with a 2.48 GAA. He is the Nephew of coach Jacques
Lemaire and is expected to be the number one guy between the pipes.
