Letter from the President

Dear Season Ticket holder:

Let me begin by expressing how proud I am to join the Minnesota Wild and the extraordinary effort of returning the National Hockey league to it rightful place in Minnesota.

The goal of our oraganization is to build a championship franchise for you, our fans. I am optimistic that our uniquie assets combined with hard work and dedication will deliver this goal.

Our list of assets is impressive and begins with our home, Minnesota, a special place for hockey with its unparalleled history and heritage. The new Saint Paul Arena will be one of the most compelling hockey facilities in the world. And our General Manager, Doug Riesbrough, brings a championship pedigree to the Wild having participated in the NHL playoffs 22 of his 25 years and winning five Stanley Cups.

But we know that the most important asset is our fans, specifically our season ticket holders. Your support has been the inspiration of the NHL's return and soon we will commenorate that support with the start of the season ticket seat selection process...

The year 2000 promises to be a memorable on as the greatest hockey players in the world return to Minnesota. Thank you for your support of the Minnesota Wild and best wishes for the New Year.
